That is such a battle for me (and I think it is a general woman problem) the desire to draw attention to myself. I used to always 'try too hard' and draw attention to myself with humor and crazy stunts. I also liked the attention I got when I dressed up. The looks bolstered my ego. Ugh. I still desire to be attractive to the world. But God has been teaching me and shaping me. He has turned my focus to that which He finds attractive, a quiet and gentle spirit for Him. Your posts and the things you have shared have really been used by God in my life. Thank you.
