I used to always 'try too hard' and draw attention to myself with humor and crazy stunts. I also liked the attention I got when I dressed up. The looks bolstered my ego. Ugh. I still desire to be attractive to the world. But God has been teaching me and shaping me. He has turned my focus to that which He finds attractive, a quiet and gentle spirit for Him. However, as women of God we are already Proverbs 31 women because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. I am doing a study on just that. It is wonderful.

I've been meaning to ask you if you've heard of the blog called www.bloggerspirit.blogspot.com, which features Spiritual Sundays? It's a blog specifically for Christian bloggers who write articles with a christ-centered message. Each week you can post your new article link. It's a great way to meet new Christian bloggers and increase traffic to your own blog.

Also, there's the blog called katielloydphotography.blogspot.com, which features "Scripture and a Snapshot" every Sunday, where Christian photographers (amateurs and semi-professionals) post their photos that have scriptures on them or as captions each week. Another great way to increase your exposure and traffic. Definitely check it out!

Blessings,
JudyJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10270543344694930411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8648662332286601318.post-50780092524546636972011-02-28T21:16:06.982-05:002011-02-28T21:16:06.982-05:00God is so mighty! It keeps striking me and reassuring me that God is truly at work in our lives when I see all the good work He has done in you.

I absolutely agree with what you wrote in this post. Our society seems run on pragmatism while organizations like Planned Parenthood profit from it. It is so true that it is in the best interest to not let single kids be alone together. I sure remember the reason for that! They need to know that they can be pure, that they can wait and those things done outside of marriage do create wounds that last a lifetime. They can get this! I think your plan with your daughter is an excellent one and we have a similar plan for our kids.marushahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16277305739964196569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8648662332286601318.post-27015531782643039092011-01-07T14:07:37.331-05:002011-01-07T14:07:37.331-05:00So true, unfortunately you have so much opposition...So true, unfortunately you have so much opposition. This reminded me of the other day when we went grocery shopping and there was a discrepancy with the receipt and my husband was trying to get it straightened out. I meditate on these every minute I can!

Through the power of the His Holy Spirit, God will enable me to do anything He commands me to do (1 Thes 5:24; Phil 2:13)
I can forgive anyone.
I can love everyone.
I can give thanks in everything.
I can be content in every circumstance.
If I don’t do these things, it’s because I “refuse”, or “won’t” or am “unwilling”
I chose to obey and will depend on the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to do so.

I am responsible before God for my behavior, responses, and choices (Eze 18:19-22)
I do not blame other people or circumstances for my sinful behaviors or negative patterns.
I take personal responsibility for MY choices, and I am NOT accountable for the actions of others, only how I respond to them.

I will reap whatever I sow (Gal 6:7-8)
My choices today will have consequences down the road for me and others.
I will not make selfish, sinful, or indulgent choices.
All my acts of obedience will plant a seed of blessing and harvest in my life and the lives of others.

The pathway to true joy is to relinquish control (Mat 16:25;
